In 2012 when Ballarat Heritage Weekend was still very new, some local residents decided to add their own, unofficial event to the BHW calendar. Under 10 people rode that year, but it was such a surprise hit that the Ballarat City Council asked for it to be made an official event the following year. Now anyone that can ride can join in the fun and people come from all over to take part.
Our ride was founded by Liana and has been organised by her ever since with help from her sister Deneale and her family.
